Yemisi Akinrinade

Biography

Yemisi Akinrinade is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Concinnity. She was instrumental in propelling the firm from start-up to a fully established and well-regarded management consulting, human capital and research practice. With over 35 years of consulting experience, Yemisi is the principal vision keeper, promoter of value propositions, generator of new business opportunities, and driver of innovation and growth across the enterprise.

Prior to Concinnity, Yemisi served as Managing Partner at Symmetry Point and variously held senior management consulting, research and advisory roles at Dove Associates (Principal Consultant, Human Capital) and at Ocean Brooks Global Solutions (Senior Consultant, Research and Analysis). Her core areas of practice included Strategic Management, Business Development, Human Capital Development, Sustainable Development, Research and Analysis, and Skills and TVET Development.

Yemisi has a Master's in Public Administration from New York University (NYU) and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin, and is an alumna of the London School of Economics (LSE) as a PhD Candidate with a focus on Health Economics, Policy and Management.

Yemisi is Chair of the WorldSkills Nigeria Project Committee and serves on the Board of Directors of multiple organisations. She is a member of several professional organisations, including the Centre for Management Development (CMD), Nigerian Computer Association (NCS), Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITDA), Chartered Institute of Financial Investment Analysts (IFIA) and International Vocational Education and Training Association (IVETA).
