Biography
Vivienne Bamgboye is a governance, leadership and institutional development advisor with more than 30 years of experience spanning the public sector, financial services, non-profit organisations and international development. A lawyer by training, she has held senior executive, board and advisory roles, working with governments, boards and executive teams on complex reform, institutional strengthening, organisational transformation and growth.
Her career combines public-sector reform, organisational development and development consulting. She has provided technical and strategic advisory support to government ministries and agencies, financial institutions, multinational organisations, international NGOs and development partners across banking, education, agriculture, health, energy, oil and gas, and manufacturing.
Vivienne's experience includes leading public-sector reform initiatives at the Presidency, serving in technical advisory roles with the Federal Ministries of Education and Agriculture, and serving as Chief Operating Officer of LEAP Africa, a pan-African leadership and social innovation organisation. She has also led and advised on large-scale organisational development, change management, leadership and social impact programmes supported by international development partners, including the World Bank, DFID and USAID.
She brings a distinctive combination of legal insight, institutional understanding, leadership experience and practical implementation expertise. Her work focuses on helping organisations strengthen governance, build institutional capability, navigate change and translate strategic priorities into sustainable performance.
Vivienne holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), a Barrister-at-Law (B.L.) qualification, a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.). She is also certified in PRINCE2 Project Management and Executive Coaching, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM).
