About

WorldSkills Nigeria

Nigeria's Gateway to Global Skills Excellence.

Concinnity has played a leading role in advocating for Nigeria's participation in the global WorldSkills movement for more than a decade, supporting efforts to strengthen technical and vocational education, advance skills excellence and enhance workforce competitiveness.

A 13-Year Effort

Nigeria's formal admission as the 89th Member of WorldSkills International, confirmed at the General Assembly in Lyon on 9 September 2024, represented a landmark achievement for the nation's technical and vocational education and training (TVET) sector. This milestone was made possible through a 13-year strategic effort spearheaded by Concinnity, under the leadership of its CEO and Managing Partner, Yemisi Akinrinade.

Recognised by WorldSkills International

Concinnity was publicly named by WorldSkills International, in a press release dated 19 March 2026, as the driving force behind Nigeria's WorldSkills membership, with Yemisi Akinrinade named directly.

Why This Matters

It positions Nigerian technical and vocational talent against international standards of excellence.

It connects Nigerian institutions and learners to a global skills network and competition framework.

It reflects Concinnity's sustained, decade-long commitment to Nigeria's skills and TVET ecosystem, not a one-off engagement.
